Vesuvio Bianco, Villa Dora, Campania, 2020, 750ml

Villa Dora is a rare example of this indigenous grape vinified in purity, its roots protected from Phylloxera by the volcanic soils of Vesuvius. A short maceration and six months on fine lees highlight its flinty freshness. Straw yellow in the glass, green apple and honeysuckle lead to a balanced acidity with tropical fruit and a lightly smoky finish.
